Our Mission

Jerusalem Prophecy College is an outreach effort of Endtime Ministries to educate the people of Israel and globally regarding the link between current events and Bible prophecies that are yet to be fulfilled. Our world is now entering the time of more prophetic fulfillment than has ever taken place in the history of mankind. Many of the events prophesied for the times just ahead will occur in Israel and in the city of Jerusalem. While many Jews in Israel are intensely interested in the prophecies of the scriptures, millions of people worldwide need to have a better understanding of the times in which we live and the unquestionable link to Bible prophecy.

The Beginning

The vision for the Jerusalem Prophecy College all started in 1996 when Irvin Baxter and his wife, Judy, visited Israel for their annual Prophecy Tour. Irvin had been studying Matthew 24:15-21 which foretold that, when the event called the “Abomination of Desolation” spoken of by Daniel the prophet took place, the Jewish people residing in Judea would have to flee for their lives. Judea (the West Bank) has always been a place of great contention between the Israeli and Palestinian people. However, this conflict is not new. In fact, it was mentioned in the Bible over 2,000 years ago when Jesus provided the guidebook for those people who will be living in Judea shortly before His Second Coming. This prophesied event will be so desperate that people who are on their housetops will be unable to go down into their houses to grab their clothes or, if they are working in the field, they will not have time to return to their houses to gather their possessions. In fact, the residents of Judea will have to immediately run for their lives – “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.” (Matthew 24:21) The Bible indicates that the peace agreement between Israelis and the Palestinians will be a seven-year agreement. Jews living in Judea under the Palestinian government will work for the first three and one-half years of this seven-year agreement – before the Abomination of Desolation occurs. After the Abomination of Desolation takes place, Palestinian anger will be ignited and they will launch brutal attacks against the Jews living in their midst. That’s the reason Jesus warned the Jews of Judea that they would have to run for their lives. As the plane was soaring over the Atlantic Ocean heading toward Israel, all these things were coursing through Irvin’s mind. He realized that most of the Jews in Judea would not be familiar with the New Testament prophecies of Jesus and that they will be in great danger. Jesus foresaw that Jews would be living under a hostile government in Judea Samaria. He also foresaw that the Palestinians would launch a reign of terror against Jews at the time of the Abomination of Desolation on the Temple Mount. There is no end to speculation concerning the future of the Middle East. However, the prophecies of the Bible give us clear insight into what the future holds for this volatile region of the world. The prophecies always come to pass. They never fail! So what do the prophecies say will happen concerning Israel and the Palestinians? Today, there are over 350,000 Jewish people living in these “disputed territories” and another 300,000 living in east Jerusalem. What will be required of the Jewish people and how will they know the time has come to flee?

We Are Watching Jesus’ Prophecy Come to Pass

As was previously explained, Jesus prophesied the exact situation 2,000 years ago that we are watching develop right now. Jesus foresaw that Jews would be living under a hostile government in Judea. He also foresaw that Palestinians would launch a reign of terror against those Jews at the time of the Abomination of Desolation. He warned them to immediately flee. He told them to not even take time to go into their homes to get their clothes. The prophecies of the Bible are amazing! And they always come to pass.

Why the Jerusalem Prophecy College?

I Chronicles 12:32 states, “And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do.” God has always spoken to His people through prophecy so they would know what was coming before it took place and so they would know what they should do. Because the nation of Israel as a whole does not know the prophecies of the New Testament, much of what they need to know for the times just ahead is hidden from them. However, many Jews in Israel are intensely interested in the prophecies of the scriptures. The Jerusalem Prophecy College was created with the goal of educating people concerning the prophecies that will come to pass in the near future. Many of the prophesied events will occur in Israel and in the city of Jerusalem. The course of study through the Jerusalem Prophecy College will provide background scriptures from both the Old and New Testaments and link them to today’s current events in order to instruct people about what to do in the prophetic times in which we live. The courses are available in a traditional environment at our facilities located in Jerusalem, Israel, and are also available globally through our online learning environment. A person completing this course of study will be equipped to train and effectively minister to those who will be turning to the Lord during the end times.

Location

The Jerusalem Prophecy College opened in downtown Jerusalem on November 12, 2013, in order to educate the Jewish people concerning the prophecies that will come to pass in the times just ahead. The in-class learning environment makes the Bible come alive through the combination of studying God’s word and visiting historical sites throughout the Holy Land. These same courses are also available online for people who are unable to attend the classes in person. Our goal is to provide the absolute best teaching and learning experience a person can obtain. We welcome students from a variety of backgrounds to join us and discover the link between current events and the prophecies of the Bible.
