A student of Bible prophecy must obtain a complete understanding of the visions of John as well as the imagery and teachings found in the Book of Revelation, as it is vital to knowing God’s plan for mankind before His Second Coming and the eventual establishment of His kingdom upon this earth.
Written by the apostle John while exiled on the island of Patmos, the Book of Revelation is commonly considered to be the most difficult to understand out of the books of the Bible. As the generation that will most definitely see the events of the Book of Revelation come to pass, the importance of understanding the visions of John is vital for any and all Christians. In this semester, students will work their way through the Book of Revelation verse by verse to gain an intimate understanding of these writings and how they are relevant today, even though they were written around 1900 years ago. Semesters 4 and 5 are the pinnacle of prophecy teaching and the climax of the Jerusalem Prophecy College online learning program.
